Cooking courses - let's learn the basics

All lessons take place at the Chef and The City workshop by Chef Ilaria Castelli 
 in Via L. Ciceri Visconti, 4 Milan (Porta Vittoria railway link).

Meeting schedule

EVERY MONDAY from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Minimum 4 participants, maximum 12 for each lesson.

Single lesson - 42 €

Less than 10 lessons - 42 €

At least 10 lessons - 35 € 

(Prices per person VAT included)

What we will do in each lesson:
• We will take our place in the lab;
• Chef Ilaria will introduce the products and raw materials used;
• You will have your own workstation set up with tools and
  ingredients;
• You will start cooking under the supervision and guidance
  of Chef Ilaria;

• While the preparations are cooking, you can
  take notes;

• We will blast chill the preparation to ensure food safety and rapid cooling.

You will be able to enjoy at home every dish you make!

*All tools and equipment needed for the preparations will be provided and the cooked products will be taken home by the students in disposable containers. We recommend bringing a notebook to take notes.

  1. Cleaning, cutting and optimal cooking of primary vegetables (potatoes, zucchini, eggplant, carrots, onions); 19.01.26
  2. Basic sauces: tomato, ragù, pesto; 02.02.26
  3. Eggs: frittatas, omelettes, soufflé or pancakes or crepes; 09.02.26
  4. Vegetables: side dishes, condiments for first courses; 16.02.26
  5. Vegetables: soups, veloutés, creams; 23.02.26
  6. Vegetables: main courses, stuffed vegetables, rolls; 02.03.26
  7. Legumes: red lentil curry; chickpea hummus; 09.03.26
  8. Risotto; 23.03.26
  9. Lasagna (with purchased pasta sheets) with vegetables or ragù with a lesson on béchamel; 30.03.26
  10. Handmade potato gnocchi; 13.04.26
  11. Meatballs; tuna meatballs; 20.04.26
  12. Sweet creams: custard, chocolate cream, tiramisu; 27.04.26
  13. Breakfast cake: e.g. apple. 04.05.26
